The Black Manzanita Candelabra from West Elm was inspired by delicate tree branches and features a sculptural element. The matte black base holds nine taper candles, which do not come included. The aluminum candle holder can be displayed on a shelf or mantelpiece. The branch candelabra also makes a stunningly romantic centerpiece for a dining room table. The dark wood like decor also comes in a nickel-plated aluminum version, offering a little more shine for special occasions. This piece is not only functional as a candle holder, but has a distinctly romantic feel. It is ideal for [holiday decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/holiday-candle-collection) and intimate dinners, not to mention an excellent decorative addition to your home. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 37% | Activity: 17% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Romantic Branch Candelabras:** The use of branch candelabras with a Gothic feel adds a romantic and sculptural element to home decor. - **Matte Black Home Decor:** The popularity of matte black home decor items, like the West Elm Manzanita Candelabra, offers a sleek and modern aesthetic. - **Versatile Candle Holders:** The versatility of candle holders, like the West Elm branch candelabra, allows for creative decoration options and can be used as both functional and decorative pieces. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can benefit from the rising demand for unique and romantic items like branch candelabras. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate matte black home decor items, such as the West Elm candelabra, to create a modern and sophisticated look for their clients' spaces. - **Event Planning:** Event planners can utilize versatile candle holders, like the West Elm branch candelabra, to create elegant and visually appealing tablescapes for various events and occasions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Architectural Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/core-candle-holder.md) - [Warm Ambient Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reflet.md) - [Fire-Inspired Artful Candelabras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forge-candelabra.md) - [Ritual Sculptural Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alma-mater.md) - [Romantic Modern Lighting Sources](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wick-s.md) - [Plant-Inspired Dynamic Chandeliers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blossom-chandelier.md) - [Striking Sculptural Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculpture-candle.md) - [Vintage-Inspired Candle Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vintageinspired-candle-lamps.md) - [Interestingly Shaped Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/poise-candle-holder.md)
