Through her brain wave artworks, that is exactly what is portrayed. That might seem strange considering it's through a [meditative mind frame](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brainco-oxyzen) that these images are captured. With [wireless sensors pressed against her head](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mwi-brain-scanner), the brain wave artworks come to life. Chavez says, “It’s like watching storms of consciousness develop and dissipate over time. It’s incredibly intense. It’s incredibly violent. The closer I get to this quiet place, the more intense these visions become.” She dubbed the brain wave artworks, Poiesis/ Tumult. It was brought to life with the help of creative technologists at Rehab Studio in London. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 41% | Activity: 86% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Brain Wave Art:** Incorporating brain wave technology in art creation. - **Neuro Art:** Creating artwork inspired by neurological patterns and activity. - **Brain-computer Interface Art:** Creating art using a device that translates brain activity into visual form. ### Where This Applies - **Art & Design:** Incorporating new technologies and unconventional methods of art creation. - **Neuroscience:** Developing new tools and technologies to monitor brain activity and translate it into visual form. - **Education/therapy:** Using neuro art as a tool for education, meditation, or therapy. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Brain-Like Labyrinths](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brash-collective.md) - [Wonderous Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/your-psychoacoustic-light-ensemble.md) - [Music AI-Generated Visual Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modem.md) - [Brain Tracking Headphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mw75-neuro-lt.md) - [Immersive Light Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/psychoacoustic-light-ensemble.md) - [Mesmerizing Sculpture Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mesmerizing-sculpture.md) - [Brainwave-Connected Tech Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/myndplay-myndhub.md) - [Brainwave-Tracking Headbands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/muse-s-athena.md) - [AI-Generated Poetic Photo Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emilio-alarcn.md)
