The exhibition connects with users' [brain waves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mw75-neuro-lt) to give each person a uniquely surreal experience. The technology taps into how relaxed or tense users are, then based off this will change in terms of imagery as well as tempo. As explained in the video, surrealism requires one to let go of reality and give in to an entirely new world. What better way to exploit this than completely taking someone out of their mind and placing these thoughts in front of them in a wacky and wonderful way? This [interactive piece of art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phenomena-abu-dhabi) titled Brain Trip really allows visitors to experience surrealism firsthand, instead of observing it from a distance. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 16% | Activity: 48% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [AI](https://www.trendhunter.com/ai) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Brain Wave-reading Art:** The use of EEG technology in creating interactive art installations that tap into users' brain waves to deliver a unique and immersive experience. - **Surrealism Experience:** Creating immersive art installations that completely take the visitors out of their minds and let them experience surrealism firsthand. - **Mind-controlled Interactions:** Developing interactive technologies that respond to the users' brain waves, allowing for mind-controlled experiences in art and entertainment. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Design:** Using EEG and other interactive technologies to create immersive art installations that engage visitors in new and exciting ways. - **Entertainment:** Incorporating mind-controlled technologies into entertainment experiences, allowing users to feel like they are truly part of the show. - **Health and Wellness:** Developing therapeutic art installations that respond to users' brain waves to help reduce stress and promote relaxation. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Brainwave-Connected Tech Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/myndplay-myndhub.md) - [Wonderous Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/your-psychoacoustic-light-ensemble.md) - [Brainwave-Tracking Headbands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/muse-s-athena.md) - [Gamified Brain-Boosting Headbands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-muse-s-athena.md) - [Music AI-Generated Visual Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modem.md) - [EEG Meditation Trackers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/calmness-meter.md) - [AI-Powered Sleep Headsets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frenz-brainband.md) - [Digital Audio-Visual Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/audiovisual-exhibition.md) - [Brain-Like Labyrinths](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brash-collective.md)
