# Noise-Canceling Loop Buds These Bowers & Wilkins C5 Headphones Secure Your Ear for Great Sounds By Matt Ho | Published 2011-07-12 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bowers-wilkins-c5-headphones References: [gearpatrol](http://gearpatrol.com/blog/2011/07/11/bowers-wilkins-c5-headphones/) & [bowers-wilkins.aiprx](http://bowers-wilkins.aiprx.com/Headphones/Headphones/C5/overview.html) Looking at the [Bowers & Wilkins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bowers-wilkins-pi7-and-pi5-s2) C5 Headphones, I see two things I like: [noise-canceling abilities](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cmf-headphone) and a secure clip. If you still haven't a decent pair of headphones yet, these Bowers & Wilkins C5 Headphones should be at the top of your wish list. One aspect I like about these nifty buds is their secure loop design that will ensure they hang on to your ears; this is especially beneficial to joggers. Another attractive feature is the Micro Porous Filter system, which the company promises will produce sound that's "open, spacious and full of rich, lifelike detail." Combine that with its noise-canceling capabilities, built-in remote and microphone and you've got a winner on your hands. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 11% | Activity: 26% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Noise-canceling Loop Buds:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop advanced noise-canceling loop buds with enhanced sound quality and secure fit for active individuals. - **Secure Clip Headphones:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create headphones with a secure clip design for sports enthusiasts to ensure a comfortable and stable fit during physical activities. - **Micro Porous Filter System:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Invent headphones with a micro porous filter system that delivers exceptional audio quality with open, spacious, and detailed sound. ### Where This Applies - **Consumer Electronics:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate advanced noise-canceling and secure clip technologies into a wide range of consumer electronic devices, such as smartphones, tablets, and gaming consoles. - **Sports and Fitness:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with sportswear companies to develop headphones with a secure clip design specifically tailored to athletes' needs. - **Audio Equipment Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Partner with audio equipment manufacturers to incorporate micro porous filter systems into high-end headphones, amplifiers, and speakers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [High-End Lifestyle Earbuds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bowers-wilkins-pi7-and-pi5-s2.md) - [Dynamic Audio Earbuds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/noise-cancelling-wireless-earbuds.md) - [Secure Athlete Earbuds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cleer-audio-roam-sport.md) - [Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/px8-headphones.md) - [Fashionable Clip-On Earbuds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bose-ultra-open-earbuds.md) - [Ambient Noise-Filtering Wireless Earphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/noisefiltering-wireless-earphone.md) - [Customizable Noise Cancellation Earbuds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sony-wfc700n.md) - [Noise-Canceling Wireless Earbuds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mxshd1.md) - [Lossless Audio Streaming Earphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bowers-wilkins-px8.md)
