It rests within a [shield of trees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/more-cabin) and [overlooks the calming waters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bora-boral) on the shores of British Columbia. The architect describes the home to be a 'contemporary cabin in the woods' -- it is made to exude comfort with progressive design. It is built carefully over two storys and is spotlighted by the exposed concrete on the lower level for a contradicting look to the blackened timber cladding that makes up the upper level. The spacious design opened up by the large ceiling to floor windows shows off a panoramic view of the Canadian coastline with natural and calming surroundings.
