The Antwerp-based studio [Bovenbouw Architectuur](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bovenbouw-architectuur-1) designed a house in Belgium with a striking black exterior. Located in Bazel on [sloping terrain](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-in-the-slope), the house is made from [black bricks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/david-chipperfield-architects). The home spans four levels. Its unique interior design makes visitors feel as though they are walking up a path.

The brick house follows the site's topography. Its lowest level includes the front door, which opens up to a walkway of wooden steps to lead visitors through the unique house layout. The Belgium home is complete with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It also includes a sheltered terrace that functions as an outdoor room. The kitchen and large living room are located at the top of the house with east-facing windows.
