# Lime-Themed Hotel Suites The 'Lime Flavor' Boutique Hotel Suite Gives Off a Futuristic Aesthetic By Laura McQuarrie | Published 2018-08-17 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boutique-hotel-suite References: [retaildesignblog.net](http://retaildesignblog.net/2018/08/14/lime-flavor-boutique-hotel-suite-room-by-sml-seoul-south-korea/) & [sml-a](https://www.sml-a.com/) SML designed the 'Lime Flavor' [boutique hotel suite](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mesonia-boutique) in Seoul, South Korea with a distinctive accent color and different modules to serve the different needs of a guest. The physical space is organized into a "Served Zone," which consists of a bed, desk and TV, as well as the "Servant Zone," made up of the entrance, bathroom, toilet, washbasin and wardrobe along one of the room's walls. In the same way that a [citrus fruit](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yuice) has pulp cells, the hotel suite adopts [convex and concave modules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kymaia-hotel) that are outlined in transparent glass. This effect helps to visually separate different parts of the space, while still creating the sense of an open-concept, boundaryless space.
