Hong Kong's largest shopping mall, Harbour City, teamed up with SNARKITECTURE to create an interactive bouncy ball installation for the summer.
The immersive 'BOUNCE' installation is set up along the Hong Kong waterfront like a stadium and inspires a sense of play by scaling up the size of a normal bouncy ball. Rather than embracing the use of multi-colored balls, the design studio also favored the use of white to create a sense of purity. The interactive component of the installation invites people to roll, lift and toss the giant bouncy balls, evoking a sense of childlike play in those of all ages.
The Gallery by the Harbour is also embracing the themes of BOUNCE and is also selling limited-edition merchandise such as t-shirts, pins and bouncy balls.
