# Modern Seltzer Bottle Lighting The Unique Glass Seltzer Bottle Lighting is Modern By Kristina Marković | Published 2014-03-06 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bottle-lighting References: [etsy](https://www.etsy.com/shop/unearthedgallery?ref=l2-shopheader-name) & [1stdibs](http://www.1stdibs.com/dealers/unearthed/) The glass [Seltzer](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/topo-chico1) bottle lighting fixtures from Unearthed Gallery on [Etsy](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arcade-clock) shop are a splash of modern. The transparent sapphire-colored, etched-glass seltzer water bottles are transformed into hanging light fixtures. The lights can be hard-wired or plug-in suspended from a stainless steel wall bracket. The timeless 40s and 50s vintage Seltzer bottles are an eco-friendly lighting option. The glass bottles are imported from Europe where they are hand-blown in wooden molds. The glass is exceptionally thick and gives off a magical glow to a room. The lighting strength depends on the light bulb choice. The room's ambiance can be softened or sharpened. Each light is professionally wired and UL-approved. The vintage bottle lighting fixtures look great above a kitchen island table or hovering over a kitchen bar. The Seltzer lighting fixtures are a unique and modern way to freshen up your home decor. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 32% | Activity: 20% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Eco-friendly Lighting:** Transforming vintage glass Seltzer bottles into hanging light fixtures presents an opportunity for eco-friendly lighting solutions. - **Vintage Decor Revival:** The popularity of vintage Seltzer bottle lighting fixtures indicates a trend towards the revival of vintage decor in modern settings. - **Personalized Ambiance:** By selecting different light bulbs, Seltzer bottle lighting fixtures offer the opportunity to customize and create a personalized ambiance in any room. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Décor:** Seltzer bottle lighting fixtures serve as a disruptive innovation in the home décor industry by offering a unique and modern lighting option. - **Lighting Design:** The transformation of vintage glass Seltzer bottles into hanging light fixtures presents innovative possibilities for the lighting design industry. - **E-commerce:** The popularity of Etsy shop Unearthed Gallery's Seltzer bottle lighting fixtures highlights the potential disruption and growth opportunities within the e-commerce industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Chic Tubular Water Carbonators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smeg-soda-maker.md) - [Multifaceted Glass Crystal Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crystal-light-fixtures.md) - [Candy-Colored Glass Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wave-ii.md) - [Customized Sparkling Water Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sodastream-art.md) - [Fishnet-Made Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/philips-mycreation-droplet-lamp.md) - [Mouth-Blown Glass Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grid-pendant-light.md) - [Bubble-Inspired Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bubbles-lighting-design.md) - [Recycled Material Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zbozhzha-pendant-light.md) - [Blown Glass-Inspired Lighting Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luisa-collection.md)
