The launcher fires [water-filled 2L bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/click-water-bottle) into the atmosphere (maybe not the atmosphere, but it does fire them up to 100 ft in the air, which is still pretty cool). All you need to do is attach an ordinary plastic bottle, filled about 1/3 of the way with water, use a bike pump and boom -- with a few pumps to pressurize the system, you're able to [blast water bottles up and away](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/water-from-air). This is a great toy to entertain your family and friends, but let's be honest: you'll be doing this all day by yourself anyway. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 12% | Activity: 25% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Alpha, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Outdoor Entertainment:** The Aquapod bottle launcher offers a fun and engaging activity for outdoor gatherings and events. - **DIY Toy Innovation:** The Aquapod showcases the potential for creating unique and exciting toys through DIY methods. - **Water-based Recreational Activities:** The Aquapod exemplifies the growing interest in water-related recreational activities. ### Who This Affects Most - **Toy Manufacturing:** Opportunity for toy manufacturers to create innovative products that combine water play and outdoor fun. - **Outdoor Sports and Recreation:** The Aquapod opens up possibilities for the outdoor sports and recreation industry to develop new water-based games and activities. - **DIY and Maker Community:** The Aquapod provides inspiration and potential for the DIY and maker community to create their own water bottle launchers and similar interactive toys. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Pump-Integrated Water Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bottle-bottle.md) - [Power-Free Water Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spyralx.md) - [Triple-Mode Powered Water Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spyrathree.md) - [Reusable Water Fight Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reusable-water-balloon.md) - [Flatulence-Firing Toy Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buttheads-fart-launcher-3000.md) - [Quick-Burst Water Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nerf-better-than-balloons.md) - [Compact Carbonation Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aerflo-for-hydro-flask.md) - [Fruit-Squeezing Water Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pressa-bottle.md) - [Obstacle Avoidance Pet Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uahpet-iretriever-dog-ball-launcher.md)
