# Sleep-Mocking Photography Flora Borsi's Photographs Will Be Sure To Make An Impression By Anne Booth | Published 2013-08-16 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/borsi References: [facebook](https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.584872008213389.1073741829.185998224767438&type=3) Flora Borsi is able to take a mundane situation and create a [beautiful photo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/still-life-1) out of it, as seen in her work titled 'Good morning Flofee.' Within her pictures, Flora [uses herself as a model](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/persona-ai) and photoshops the photo to make it look as if the outline of an object is permanently molded into her face. Every photo showcases Flora's sense of humor, as it is meant to look as if she has fallen asleep with these objects, thus creating the exaggerated impression. The [surrealist quality](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/optical-flow) to these photos is both impressive and laughable as a similar situation may have happened to anyone, to a lesser extent of course. The bold colors, crystal clear photo and simplicity found in each picture prove that Flora Borsi's talent should not be underestimated. I eagerly await to see what her creative mind will come up with next! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.8/10 - Popularity: 86% | Activity: 51% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Surrealist Photography:** Opportunity for photographers to create visually stunning and thought-provoking images that challenge reality. - **Humorous Artistic Expression:** Artists can explore using humor to create engaging and entertaining artworks that resonate with audiences. - **Digital Manipulation:** Advancements in photo editing software allow for endless possibilities in transforming images to create unique and compelling visuals. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Photography:** Photographers can utilize surrealistic techniques to differentiate their work and attract a niche audience. - **Art:** Artists can incorporate humor to attract new collectors and create memorable and relatable artworks. - **Digital Technology:** Developers and software companies can continue to innovate photo editing tools to empower artists with new creative possibilities. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [AI-Generated Real-World Transformations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-generated-world.md) - [AI-Generated Poetic Photo Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emilio-alarcn.md) - [AI-Generated Selfies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dreambooth.md) - [Surrealist Beauty Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toiletpaper-magazine.md) - [Stylized Portrait Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/face-to-all.md) - [Unique Artistic Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amusebouche.md) - [Glamorous Artful Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-jane.md) - [Imaginative Photo-Editing AI Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/youniverse.md) - [Creative Floral Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floralbooth.md)
