Designed by Juliette Bouilly, the little lantern stays alight until your youngster's eyelids get heavy and it brightens up immediately when it's needed next. A built-in 20-minute timer causes the light to gradually fade so that it should remain off for the duration of the night. However, if the little one wakes up, [a simple touch to the flashlight](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loopdot) will make it luminescent once more. A magnetic electrical cord can detach from the Boon Loopiote Nightlight with a tug so that the lamp can be carried by its handle to the bathroom. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.7/10 - Popularity: 54% | Activity: 20% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Smart Bedtime Lights:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop customizable bedtime lights with additional features like sleep timers and motion sensors. - **Child-friendly Nightlights:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create nightlights specifically designed to alleviate children's fear of the dark, incorporating fun, interactive elements. - **Portable Kids' Lamps:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design portable lamps for kids with detachable cords and handles, allowing easy transport and versatility in different spaces. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce innovative lighting solutions for home decor, targeting specific needs and preferences. - **Children's Products:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop new children's products that enhance their comfort, safety, and well-being, such as novel nightlights and bedtime accessories. - **Electronics:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore advancements in portable lighting technologies, creating innovative and versatile electronic devices for various applications. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Soothing Auditory Infant Nightlights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vava-peepalight.md) - [Rechargeable Multicolored Dinosaur Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/globe-electric.md) - [Color-Matching Night Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/angelcare-magical-dreams-lumicolor-bear.md) - [Sleep-Enhancing Bedtime Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loftie-lamp.md) - [Screen-Free 3-in-1 Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luna-storytime-projector.md) - [Comforting Multifunctional Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buddy-portable-lamp.md) - [Astronaut Night Light Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/night-light-projectors.md) - [Cabin-Shaped Reading Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boof-reading-light.md) - [Mood-Setting Adventurous Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/guidelight.md)
