Razer Boomslang mouse returns with updated hardware and a 45000 dpi sensor while keeping the elongated shape that defined the original model. The mouse uses an optical sensor rated for high precision across a wide sensitivity range. It includes primary left and right buttons, two auxiliary buttons, and a clickable scroll wheel. The shell is molded with textured side surfaces for grip and stability during fast movements. A USB-C cable provides the connection and supports polling rates of up to one thousand hertz. The underside features low-friction feet that assist with smooth tracking.

The internal firmware allows users to adjust sensitivity levels and assign button functions through configuration software. The mouse weighs a moderate amount to balance control and responsiveness. RGB lighting is integrated into defined exterior zones. The updated model is produced as a modern edition that replicates the original form while adding contemporary performance capabilities.
