# Gear Shift Showers The Bool Bool Faucet Rains Water at Top Speed By Summer Luu | Published 2010-10-27 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bool-bool-faucet References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2010/10/27/err-yes-it’s-a-water-droplet/) & [darkdesign.ru](http://darkdesign.ru/en/news.html) The Bool Bool Faucet designed by DarkDesignGroup is inspired by water droplets. Though it may not have been the designer's intention, this [shower fixture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antoniolupi-tubo) bears a striking resemblance to the gear shifts of a standard car. This long, smooth [water tap](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kohler-billet) has three functions -- to turn water on and off, [mix hot and cold streams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/faro-mixer) and regulate water pressure. Pulling the Bool Bool Faucet up and down adjusts these three elements in a stimulating shower, allowing you to control stream speed with ease. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.6/10 - Popularity: 9% | Activity: 2% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Car-inspired Showers:** Opportunity to create unique bathroom fixtures that incorporate design elements from cars. - **Multifunctional Shower Heads:** Opportunity to develop shower heads with multiple functions for enhanced shower experiences. - **Interactive Showers:** Opportunity to design shower fixtures that offer interactive experiences for users. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Bathroom Fixture Manufacturing:** Bathroom fixture manufacturers can explore design collaborations with automotive industry to create unique products. - **Home Improvement Retail:** Retailers can offer a broader range of multifunctional shower heads to provide customers with more options for customized shower experiences. - **Smart Home Technology:** Companies developing smart home technology can explore opportunities to incorporate interactive shower systems into their product offerings. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Refined Dishwasher Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grifoa-sliding-faucet.md) - [Ultra-Modern Sliding Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/desliz-faucet.md) - [Triple-Aerator Outdoor Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ffqt-outdoor-shower.md) - [Fully Integrated Smart Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-shower-head.md) - [Colorful Resin Faucet Handles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chromablock.md) - [Enhanced Stylish Faucet Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omnibath.md) - [Abstract Industrial Faucet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/formation-01-faucet.md) - [Contemporary Sleek Mixer Taps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/botte-mixer.md) - [Customizable Faucet Programs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dornbracht-atelier.md)
