The main design feature of the office is the bookshelf staircase that is designed to mimic a stadium's bleachers. The idea was to create a functional piece of furniture that holds books but also provides employees a place to sit while they read. It also acts as a great conversation piece and saves space within the office. This unique piece of furniture is made from recycled scaffolding planks, which makes it an eco-friendly piece of furniture. It has five levels to it and it sits across from a large collection of floor-to-ceiling windows revealing a glorious cityscape view. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.8/10 - Popularity: 86% | Activity: 50% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Stadium-inspired Furniture:** The trend of designing furniture inspired by stadium seating provides a functional and conversation-starting element to office interiors. - **Eco-friendly Design:** The trend of using recycled materials in furniture design provides eco-conscious consumers with sustainable and unique options. - **Community-focused Office Design:** The trend of incorporating elements of schools and community spaces in office interiors fosters a sense of collaboration and teamwork among employees. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture:** The furniture industry has an opportunity to create stadium-inspired designs that combine functionality with eye-catching aesthetics. - **Sustainable Design:** The sustainable design industry can explore the use of recycled materials in furniture production to meet the demand for eco-friendly options. - **Office Design:** The office design industry can incorporate community-focused elements into their projects to create workspaces that promote collaboration and teamwork. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dynamic Bookend Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stair-table.md) - [Architectural Library Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reading-nooks.md) - [Sculptural Bookshelves Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-bookshelf.md) - [Book-Storing Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookgroove-bookrack.md) - [Expandable Bookcase Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/burrow-index-bookcase.md) - [Sliding Wintery Landscape Bookshelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/manhwabang-bookshelf.md) - [Wood-Wrapped Contemporary Libraries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/graded-school-library.md) - [Room-Dividing Bookshelf Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frquence-shelf.md) - [Twisting Donut-Shaped Bookshelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hullabaloo-bookshelf.md)
