Inspired by the works of Origami, the Book Table Light is made of a bookbinding cotton and paper, and a UV-stable cotton fluorescent compact bulb. Like the paper-folding art, this lighting fixture uses the same delicate pleated paper look used to conceal the bulb. The accordion-styled Book Table Light also adjusts the strength of its luminosity within the charismatic folds. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 23% | Activity: 16% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Origami Lighting:** The trend of using Origami-inspired designs in lighting fixtures presents an opportunity for companies to create innovative and captivating products. - **Multifunctional Lighting:** The trend of creating multifunctional lighting fixtures presents an opportunity for companies to offer unique and practical products that cater to consumers' needs. - **Eco-friendly Lighting:** The trend of using eco-friendly materials in lighting fixtures presents an opportunity for companies to promote sustainability and cater to environmentally-conscious consumers. ### Who This Affects Most - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can benefit from the trend of Origami lighting by incorporating these unique and captivating designs into their projects. - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can benefit from the trend of multifunctional lighting by offering practical and elegant fixtures that cater to consumers' needs. - **Sustainability:** The sustainability industry can benefit from the trend of eco-friendly lighting by promoting the use of sustainable materials and encouraging environmentally-conscious practices. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Flat-Pack Paper Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tsubomi.md) - [Origami-Inspired Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ori-lamp.md) - [Foldable Wooden Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/interactive-folding-lamp.md) - [Dynamic Bookend Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stair-table.md) - [Cabin-Shaped Reading Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boof-reading-light.md) - [Paper-Made Origami Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hanging-origami-lamp.md) - [Elegant Compact Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-table-light.md) - [Paper-Inspired Half-Folded Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/half-lamp.md) - [Origami-Inspired Vase Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gingko-smart-vase-light.md)
