Designed by [HOLO Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/manual-holo), the toaster features [transparent housing](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-clear-series) that will enable users to actually keep an eye on the doneness of their toast without having to rely on guesswork or constantly cancel the function to take a look. This will speed things up when it comes to preparation, while also providing users with a distinct experience that will let them watch the bread as it's toasted. The conceptual 'BOLD' toaster also puts bread in a [side-by-side orientation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dwo-oven-and-multicooker) to let users easily see both pieces at the same time. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.3/10 - Popularity: 94% | Activity: 85% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Transparent Appliances:** Developing transparent designs for other kitchen appliances such as food processors or microwaves could allow users to have more control and understanding of the cooking process. - **Connected Toasters:** Creating a toaster that can connect to a smartphone app or smart home system would allow users to set their preferences for toastiness and monitor the cooking process remotely. - **Customized Toast Settings:** Incorporating technology such as sensors and machine learning algorithms could allow for personalized toast settings based on individual preferences and bread types. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Kitchen Appliances:** Transparent designs and connected technology could disrupt the traditional market for kitchen appliances, creating new opportunities for innovation and competition. - **Smart Home Technology:** Connected toasters and other kitchen appliances could be integrated into smart home systems, creating more convenience and control for users. - **Food Industry:** Advanced technology in toasters could lead to new developments in the production and distribution of bread and other baked goods. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Minimalist One-Slice Toasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toast-appliance.md) - [Sliding Easy-Access Toasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slide-toaster.md) - [Visualized Intelligent Toaster Models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cuisinart-simplitouch-xl.md) - [Rocking Robotic Toaster Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/robot-toaster.md) - [Precision Touchscreen-Enabled Toasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tineco-toasty-one.md) - [Touchscreen Interface Smart Toasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toasty-one.md) - [Optic Sensor Smart Toasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/breville-eye-q-auto.md) - [Multi-Position Bread Toasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taurus-toaster-30.md) - [Modern Aesthetic Kitchen Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hay-sowden-toaster.md)
