# Winding Bold Chair Designs XYZ Integrated Architecture Create a Mesmerizing Piece of Furniture By Kalin Ned | Published 2018-05-29 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bold-chair-design References: [xyz.ge](http://xyz.com.ge/deliriumchair.php) XYZ Integrated Architecture challenges the understanding of form with its bold chair design that mixes sculptural aesthetics with furniture functionality. Dubbed the 'Delirium Chair,' the structure boasts a noticeable red color that captures attention and can make a friendly accent to the interior of a living, dining or study room. While the structure is decisively architecturally inspired and demands a sizable place for display, the furniture piece will be an artful addition to a highly minimalist design. The form of the Delirium Chair takes cues from the post-modernist movement. Its complexities and weaving form create an engaging mode of existence. Crafted out of steel, the unique piece by XYZ Integrated Architecture defines itself as a fluid and continuous entity. The bold chair design provides for an interesting silhouette from each angle of perception. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.1/10 - Popularity: 93% | Activity: 83% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Sculptural Furniture:** There is an opportunity to create sculptural furniture with bold designs and unique aesthetics, like the Delirium Chair. - **Architecturally Inspired Furniture:** More furniture pieces could take inspiration from architecture to create bold and attention-grabbing designs. - **Complex Forms:** There could be an increase in interest for furniture with complex forms and weaving designs that engage viewers. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture Design:** This trend provides an opportunity for furniture designers to create unique and eye-catching pieces that stand out in the market. - **Architecture:** Architects could expand their portfolio by creating furniture that embodies architectural elements and techniques. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers could incorporate sculptural furniture with complex forms into their designs to add an element of intrigue to the space. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Structural Layered Bold Armchairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/extra-bold-armchair.md) - [Strong Geometric Steel Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zerothickness-chair.md) - [Circular Modernist Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zerogravity-chair.md) - [Marbles-Inspired Intricate Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shepherd-studio.md) - [Legless Floor Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-bold-chair.md) - [Music-Inspired Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-chair1.md) - [Wavy Lounge Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wavy-lounge-chair.md) - [Chaotically Natural Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kkochgalam-chair.md) - [Reimagined Colorful Chair Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stedelijk-chair.md)
