The idea behind break dancing is to tell a story through one's body stunts. However, power moves using flips and freezes are often cheered for depending on how crazy they are. The more physics-defying the stunt is, the better. This video extends such notions by taking a single break dancer and augmenting his video clips with [kaleidoscope features](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/optical-flow). The result is mid-air stalled moves with [bursts of color](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-dancer) and screen shifts. All of the effects happen accordingly with the beat in the background, resulting in a [psychedelic breakdancing video](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-psychedelia) that's hard to ignore. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 26% | Activity: 31% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Viral](https://www.trendhunter.com/viral) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Augmented Dance Videos:** Opportunity to enhance dance videos with augmented reality effects for a captivating visual experience. - **Physics-defying Stunts:** Potential for innovating break dancing with even more complex and mind-bending moves that defy gravity. - **Synchronized Beat Effects:** Exploration of synchronized visual effects that react to the beat of the music, creating an immersive audiovisual experience. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Entertainment:** Opportunity for the entertainment industry to incorporate augmented reality in dance performances and videos for a unique and captivating audience experience. - **Sports and Recreation:** Potential to introduce new competitive dance categories focused on physics-defying stunts, pushing the boundaries of athleticism and creativity. - **Music and Dance Education:** Integration of synchronized beat effects in dance education programs to enhance learning and inspire creativity in dancers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dancing NFT Platforms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/natyaverse.md) - [Physics-Informed Digital Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/motion-sculpture.md) - [Rewarding Dance Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/desperados-dance-club.md) - [Dynamic Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/art-in-motion-exhibition.md) - [Interactive Bloclk Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dancing-hula-girl.md) - [Dreamy Dance-Centric Ads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-and-spike-jonze.md) - [Hip-Hop-Influenced Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bric-house.md) - [Dynamic Video Backdrops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fluidmotion.md) - [Digital Audio-Visual Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/audiovisual-exhibition.md)
