# Amphibious Still Life Art Bob Garas Captures Brilliant Images of his Adorable Pet Frogs By Summer Luu | Published 2011-03-13 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bob-garas References: [buzzfeed](http://www.buzzfeed.com/burnred/its-a-frogs-life-281t) & [bobgarasimages](http://www.bobgarasimages.com/) I'm not usually a fan of [croaking amphibian creatures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sapo-concho), but this photo set by Bob Garas is stunning and brilliant, making these slimy frogs look really adorable. Garas photographs his pet frogs in his Orlando home. He really has a way of capturing the frogs in the perfect light against vibrant props and backgrounds. With much patience, these tiny amphibians pop their heads out of cracked eggshells, wine glasses and blooming flowers, showing how delicate and innocent they really are in their explorations. These [leaping frogs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unfrogettable) really shine through in their own set of [technicolor self-portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/still-life-1). The images by Bob Garas really makes me look at these amphibians in a different way -- I guess they're not so bad after all. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.6/10 - Popularity: 64% | Activity: 35% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Amphibious Still Life Art:** Opportunity to explore new techniques and styles in capturing images of amphibious subjects. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Photography:** Technological advancements in photography equipment and editing software can enhance the quality of amphibious still life art. - **Animal Care:** Creating aesthetically pleasing environments for amphibians in captivity can enhance the overall experience for pet owners. - **Home Decor:** Designing frog-themed home decor products that are inspired by the vibrant and adorable images of Bob Garas's pet frogs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Frog Inspired Clogs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frog-clog.md) - [Small Amphibious Plush Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/little-frog.md) - [Aquatic Amphibian Children's Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tacos-frog.md) - [Durable High-End Frog-Inspired Watches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/goliath-frogman.md) - [Amphibian-Shaped Plush Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ricky-rain-frog.md) - [Striking Urban Wildlife Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clare-allin.md) - [Aggressive Frog-Inspired Timepieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gshock-master-of-g-frogman-gw8200tpf1.md) - [Otherworldly Wooden Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-sculptures-1.md) - [Unique Artistic Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amusebouche.md)
