# Peculiar Sheep-Inspired Seating This Strange Bo Peep-Inspired Chair is Made with Wool By Lacey-Jane Walsh | Published 2013-06-01 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bo-peep References: [design-milk](http://design-milk.com/wool-chair-by-architecture-uncomfortable-workshop/) & [auworkshop](http://www.auworkshop.com/) This odd-ball Bo Peep-inspired creation was designed by Architecture Uncomfortable Workshop, an architectural firm based in Budapest. This sheepish seating solution is called the Wool Chair, and it's exactly what it sounds like. This interesting chair design seems to butt heads with the company's name, considering that the Wool Chair looks like a comfy cloud seat. The Wool Chair is made from wood wrapped up with wool, and acts as a [cushy stool](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bubble-stool) for those who would rather sit than stand. This [fluffy wooden chair](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/press-armchair) is the perfect seat for winter. It would be pretty impossible to sit on a big pile of wool and not stay warm. This animal-inspired stool is about as unusual as seating gets, but it would make a cozy, interesting addition to any home. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 60% | Activity: 26% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Animal-inspired Furniture:** Architecture and design firms can create animal-inspired furniture designs that bring quirky personality into homes and offices. - **Mixed Material Seating:** Incorporating contrasting materials like wool and wood can create unique seating options for consumers. - **Comfortable Decor:** Home decor companies can focus on creating comfortable and cozy furniture designs like the Wool Chair to attract consumers who value comfort in their homes. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Design:** Furniture companies can explore creative ways to combine materials and incorporate animal-inspired designs into their product lines. - **Interior Design:** Interior design firms can incorporate quirky or unconventional furniture pieces like the Wool Chair to add playful personality to their clients' spaces. - **Home Goods:** Home goods companies can tap into the demand for comfortable and cozy decor by offering unique furnishings like the Wool Chair. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cozy Sheep-Like Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flock-furniture.md) - [Chunky Knitted Quilted Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/knitty-chair.md) - [Sculptural Cocooned Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/introvert-chair.md) - [Juxtaposed Materials Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wool-diaries-collection.md) - [Cocoon Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-introvert-chair.md) - [Smart Bulbous Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buffo.md) - [Childhood-Informed Dome Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-clodette-chair.md) - [Fuzzy Modern Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fuzzy-modern-chair.md) - [Sea Creature-Inspired Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seat-urchin.md)
