Its upgraded battery puts out 184 horsepower and 199 lb-ft of torque, up from the standard i3's 170 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. Inside the new BMW i3S is more or less identical to its less sporty twin. In its most powerful setting the BMW i3S can do 0-60 mph in 6.8 seconds and hit a top speed of 100 mph.
