This car is a design for the real world to help us fight the greatest super villain of them all: rising gas prices. The [BMW](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/concept-xm) Concept 20 is the latest in the long line of [hybrid designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jaguar-type-00) that keep getting sleeker and sleeker. The one thing I love about beamers is that they never seem to age, and the BMW Concept 20 would likely holds its style weight for years. I mean, just look at those sliding doors. If this baby doesn't inspire you to dress up in a cape and fight injustice at night, I don't know what will. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.1/10 - Popularity: 18% | Activity: 6% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Hybrid Car Designs:** The BMW Concept 20 is a sleek hybrid design that showcases the trend of making hybrid cars more aesthetically pleasing and stylish. - **Rising Gas Prices:** The BMW Concept 20 addresses the trend of increasing fuel costs by offering a fuel-efficient hybrid option for consumers. - **Superhero-inspired Designs:** The BMW Concept 20 taps into the trend of superhero-inspired designs, appealing to consumers who are drawn to the allure of being a real-life superhero. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Automotive Industry:** The BMW Concept 20 showcases disruptive innovation opportunities for automakers to create more appealing and fuel-efficient hybrid cars. - **Energy Industry:** With rising gas prices, the BMW Concept 20 represents an opportunity for the energy industry to explore alternative fuel sources and technologies to combat fuel price increases. - **Entertainment Industry:** Superhero-inspired designs like the BMW Concept 20 present disruptive innovation opportunities for the entertainment industry to collaborate with automakers and create unique and exciting marketing campaigns. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Futuristic Hybrid SUVs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/concept-xm.md) - [Superhero-Themed Hypercar Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pininfarina.md) - [Dynamic Precision Sports Cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bmw-concept-skytop.md) - [Retro-Futuristic Headlight Automobiles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neue-klasse.md) - [Grand Touring Automotive Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bmw-concept-speedtop.md) - [Dapper Dual-Tone Superbike Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bmw-motorrad-ch4-superbike.md) - [Sleek Premium EV Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vision-neue-klasse.md) - [Autonomous Superhero Transportation Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wr322-ugv-batpod.md) - [Bat-Inspired Luxury Hypercar Events](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxury-hypercar.md)
