The new BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo has the functionality of a 5 series but the luxurious interior of a 7 series. The Gran Turismo is as long as the 7 series, with head room very similar to the [X5](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bmw-x5). Simply put, the BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo is just another well-made BMW (hence all the similarities). The kicker with the Gran Turismo is a nifty little feature about the trunk (photo 2). The trunk is a two-part hatch that opens in (you guessed it) two different ways depending on the size of the object. The Gran Turismo has reverse assist cameras that work with a park distance control system. This gives a 360 degree view of the car when handling all low speed endeavors. Additional optional equipment includes night vision with pedestrian recognition active cruise control.
