Made up of Xs and Os, they have a cartoonish aesthetic that can only be attributed to such a [playful game](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bug-table). Nevertheless, it also comes in a squarish shape that throws off the analogy just a bit. Designed by Dutch product label Spell, Blush Side Table is a beautiful combination of [metal and wood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/intra-side-table). The majority of the design is metal. The wood comes in the form of an oak finished inlay that sits flush within the metal tabletop. Available in [five colors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/runda-tables) including White, Earth Pink, Pebble Gray, Quartz Gray and Sapphire Blue, the Blush Side Table also comes with a choice of Natural or White Wash wood. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 30% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Cartoonish Geometric Furniture:** Designing furniture with a playful and cartoon-like aesthetic creates a unique and whimsical appeal for consumers. - **Wood and Metal Combination:** Combining wood and metal in furniture design offers a contemporary and versatile approach for creating visually appealing and durable products. - **Colorful and Customizable Side Tables:** Offering side tables in a variety of colors and with customizable wood finishes allows consumers to personalize their furniture and match their unique interior design preferences. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Incorporating cartoonish geometric designs in furniture manufacturing introduces a new line of products that cater to consumers seeking unconventional and eye-catching pieces. - **Interior Design:** Utilizing wood and metal combinations in interior design offers designers and homeowners a contemporary and aesthetically pleasing option for creating stylish and functional spaces. - **Customization and Personalization Services:** Providing customizable side tables with a range of color options and wood finishes opens up opportunities for businesses to offer personalized furniture solutions to customers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Geometric Cutout Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/designated-table.md) - [Puzzling Geometric Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linked-side-table.md) - [Impactful Industrial Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/to-steel-side-table.md) - [Intersecting Two-Part Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shaolin-side-table.md) - [Fabric-Like Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tablecloth-side-table.md) - [Acrylic Multicolor Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lucid-side-tables.md) - [Perplexingly Angular Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tadashi-side-table.md) - [Asymmetrical Storage Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crossbred-side-table.md) - [Illusory Cracked Base Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/conceptual-side-table.md)
