With its Bluetooth-connected features, Jonas is able to be [tracked from a smartphone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chipolo-pop) so it won't get lost, with the device sending messages to its user if it's forgotten. For easy location, Jonas attracts the umbrella owner with an LED light. In the event that one's smartphone is lost, Jonas can help find it by calling it so that it can be located more easily. This also allows the umbrella to send notifications to consumers by vibrating at the handle -- alerting them to texts and calls.
