Architect Sean Griffiths introduces a new pebbledash-covered [rooftop studio extension](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terzetto-flat) to the [Blue House](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-blue-house) that he designed two decades ago as a part of the architectural studio FAT. It boasts the look of a shed and as a part of the new extension, there is a separate flat and office for landscape architect Lynn Kinnear's studio.

Griffiths talks to [Dezeen](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/triangle-house-1) about the new space, stating that "The project was very much a piece of unfinished business. The house was originally conceived as a four-story building with a roof terrace. A combination of limited budget and the planners' refusal, back in the day, to countenance a four-story building meant it couldn't happen 20 years ago when the house was first built."
