Painted on the [side of a building in Rome](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/piranha-tank), the Blu art shows a giant, conical spiral reaching up towards the sky. At the lower end of the spiral, a bright blue body of water contains early organisms. These morph into [marine mammals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marine-ecosystem-sculptures) and then into dinosaurs as the spiral continues. The color, meanwhile, transitions from blue to green and then into yellow. Dinosaurs become elephants, then primates and finally people. After early humans, the Blu art depicts [Egyptian pyramids and intricate Roman constructions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/royal-ontario-museum). Finally, the spiral becomes pure white and, at its highest point, begins to crumble and fall back down to the bottom of the building. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.9/10 - Popularity: 95% | Activity: 73% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Graffiti](https://www.trendhunter.com/graffiti) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Environmental Apocalypse:** This street art piece highlights the growing concern and awareness about the impending environmental crisis, creating opportunities for disruptive innovations such as renewable energy solutions and sustainable practices. - **Evolutionary Narrative:** The artwork's portrayal of the evolution of life provokes a reimagining of education and storytelling, giving rise to potential disruptive innovations in interactive learning experiences and immersive educational technologies. - **Metaphorical Representation:** The use of metaphorical imagery in street art opens up possibilities for disruptive innovations in visual communication and advertising strategies that convey deeper messages and engage audiences on a subconscious level. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Renewable Energy:** The artwork's depiction of the environmental apocalypse prompts the renewable energy industry to explore and implement new technologies to combat climate change. - **Education Technology:** The evolutionary narrative portrayed in the art piece drives the development of innovative educational technologies that offer immersive and interactive learning experiences. - **Advertising and Marketing:** The metaphorical representation in the street art encourages the advertising and marketing industry to embrace more creative and thought-provoking visual communication strategies. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tree-Integrated Mysterious Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tree-mural.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [Post-Pandemic Art Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bonami.md) - [Bubblegum Street Art Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hubbabubbabuilding.md) - [Afro-Futuristic Marble Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gaia.md) - [Multi-Sensory Art Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arcadia-earth-toronto-benjamin-von-wong.md) - [Future-Facing Sculptural Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eye-of-the-future.md) - [Street Art-Inspired Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/met-rooftop.md) - [Interactive Kinetic Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/interactive-kinetic-sculptures.md)
