# Illusionist Vases The Blow Away Vase by FRONT Swedish Design Group is Wondefully Alluring By Allison Love | Published 2010-07-08 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blow-away-vase References: [notcot.org](http://www.notcot.org/post/32272/) & [henricks-tankar.blogspot](http://henricks-tankar.blogspot.com/2010/07/bla-och-vitt-i-annorlunda-former.html) This unique and interesting Blow Away Vase by FRONT, a Swedish design group, is a mind-bender. I can't figure out how the designers managed to make this stationary vase look like it's actually in the process of being blown away. The Blow Away Vase is just one vase in a series of works by the design group. Their [pop can vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kinetic-vases) are also works of art and [trippy illusions for the mind](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ripples-collection) to figure out. I love their use of out-of-the-box thinking when it comes to the use of traditional china in contemporary art. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 66% | Activity: 53% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Illusionist Vases:** Opportunity for creating unique and visually captivating home decor products that challenge traditional perceptions of objects. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** Chance for home decor brands to innovate and create illusionist vases that appeal to consumers looking for unique and eye-catching design pieces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Nordic-Inspired Glass Blown Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fab-vase.md) - [Gradient Tonal Optical Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stretch-color.md) - [Dynamic Colorful Glass Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pavilion-set.md) - [Cosmic Glass Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/black-hole-vase.md) - [Sculptural Hand-Blown Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/handblown-vase.md) - [Mouth-Blown Glass Hydro Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hydro-glass-vase.md) - [Delicate Colorful Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delicate-colorful-vase.md) - [Artful Dynamic Kinetic Vessels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kinetic-vases.md) - [Milled Three-Dimensional Puzzle Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-bodies.md)
