The Block Magazine 'Moving Picture' editorial is stunningly cinematic. Inspired by a completely different era, the images featured throughout have an old world, 20s charm to them. Nevertheless, the fashion itself has a 60s element that is given a mysterious and sultry edge in the black and white photos.
Captured by photographer Victor Demarchelier, the Block Magazine Moving Picture editorial appears in the spring and summer 2012 issue of the publication. Centered around the story of a bachelorette living in Manhattan, the portraits, as implied by the editorial's title, are influenced by movie stills. It stars model Kate Wagoner. The American model was styled by Britt Marie Kittelsen with vintage curls by renowned hairstylist Didier Malige and a glam face by makeup artist Samantha Trinh.
