The artist is based in Spain where he has developed a peculiar infatuation with the insect, prompting him to release these red-hued snapshots. Meven began building upon his portfolio in 2009, the year in which he bought his first DSLR camera. He soon after honed in on his passion for [macro snapshots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moment-1), exploiting it here as captured the [ladybugs on branches, mushrooms and flowers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/farming-photographs). His editing has made the images come across as fake, qualities that indicate his talent and ability to relay ethereal imagery in an almost magical sense. Much is to be anticipated of Meven. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 69% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Customization](https://www.trendhunter.com/customization) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Micro Insect Photography:** There is an opportunity for companies to develop new technology to make micro insect photography more accessible and affordable for hobbyists and professionals. - **Macro Shot Editing:** There is an opportunity for companies to develop new software and editing tools that can make macro shots of micro insects appear more lifelike and less edited. - **Insect Infatuation:** There is an opportunity for companies to capitalize on the trend of insect infatuations by creating insect-themed merchandise. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Photography:** There is an opportunity for photography companies to develop new lenses and cameras that focus on micro insect photography. - **Software:** There is an opportunity for software companies to develop macro shot editing tools for micro insect photography. - **Retail:** There is an opportunity for retail companies to create insect-themed products such as jewelry and clothing. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Insect-Inspired Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/insect-bronze-sculptures.md) - [Life-Sized Puzzled Insect Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/insect-collection.md) - [Reimagined Puzzled Artful Paintings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portrait-of-a-woman-in-a-hat.md) - [Smart Hummingbird Feeders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/feathersnap-hummingbird-feeder.md) - [Bug-Inspired Jewelry](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/murder-hornet-ring.md) - [Hummingbird Camera Feeders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hum-bloom.md) - [Stunning Origami Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/origami-portaits.md) - [Miniaturized Product Art Photographs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/small-muji.md) - [Painting-Immersive Photo Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-ground-exhibition.md)
