It is, in its essence, a hinged frame that matches your window, made up of 10 rails that can hold your [wet laundry](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zera-lab-launbot). The [wooden shutter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/motorized-window-shades) can be latched up vertically or drawn down perpendicular to the wall depending on the user's preference and the task at hand. With a fresh load of clean clothes from the washing machine, you might choose to hang your garments along these racks, and to give them a breeze and you some shade with the contraption lifted fully. Through Blindry, Ko Kyungeun and Kim Bobin have devised an eco method of managing your wardrobe, a passive way to modify the climate of your home and a clever way to treat [space-starved apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-shelf). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 56% | Activity: 66% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Multipurpose Furniture:** Opportunity for creating innovative furniture designs that serve multiple functions in small living spaces. - **Eco-friendly Home Solutions:** Opportunity for developing sustainable products and systems that reduce environmental impact in residential settings. - **Space-saving Innovations:** Opportunity for inventing new technologies and designs that optimize space utilization in compact dwellings. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunities for furniture companies to create versatile, space-saving pieces for small living spaces. - **Home Appliance:** Opportunity for appliance manufacturers to develop eco-friendly and space-efficient products that cater to the needs of small households. - **Interior Design:** Opportunity for interior design professionals to explore creative solutions for maximizing space and incorporating multipurpose elements in small living environments. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Air-Circulating Laundry Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clothes-drying-rack-concept.md) - [Ceiling-Mounted Laundry Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/goodliving.md) - [Space-Efficient Drying Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spaceefficient-drying.md) - [Space-Saving Garment Care Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flip-dualfunction-ironing-board-mirror.md) - [Expanding Garment Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flip-hanger.md) - [Miniature Clothing Dryers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/biny-dryer.md) - [Smart-Designed Clothes Dryers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smartdesigned-clothes-dryer.md) - [Open-Concept Clothing Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bauhutte-clothes-hanger-rack.md) - [Advanced Multimedia Window Blinds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/speaker-blind.md)
