The Blind Guider system comprises more than a few [tactile tiles on the urban footpath](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/switchyard-park), for the concept proposes the implanting of RFID tags inside of them. The idea is that these yellow intersection markers would contain information about specific street names and direction so that the visually impaired will not get lost.

Hui-Chuan Ma, Chih-Hao Wang, Yin-Kai Li and Jang Cheng suggest the creation of three types of pavement pads: a lined one, a bumpy one and a descending arrow tile. The system would require the use of a [special walking stick with RFID-reading capabilities](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/navicane). The moment it gets caught in the crook of the triangular Blind Guider, the location information would be delivered verbally to the user through an [assistive bluetooth earbud](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bluetooth-special-interest-group).
