More specifically, the program will give local businesses exclusive access to [e-cargo bikes at a discounted rate](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boulder-ebike-voucher), encouraging them to utilize Bleeper's eco-friendly alternative to gas-powered delivery vehicles. The new scheme will run for just six months as a trial and is currently open for application for any Dublin-based business. The one requirement is that the businesses must have a suitable space to store the e-cargo bikes. The cargobikes themselves offer a [carrying capacity of 60kg](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/20fifty-ltx) and are equipped with a powerful battery capable of lasting 160km. “We’re offering a low-risk and low-cost opportunity for businesses to try out a transportation solution which is better for the climate, better for the environment, better for staff wellbeing, and better for the bottom line," said Jennifer McGrath, head of micro-mobility in Dublin City Council.
