Anyone familiar with stop motion animation knows the enormous amount of effort that is required to make a successful video, and this sugary short is proof. Blankchip18 made this animation entirely out of [gummy bears](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gummy-mystery-cube), creating candy versions of [classic arcade games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gamestation-retro) with the bears. The chewy treats were arranged to re-enact Pac Man, [Tetris](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wireless-plug-play-systems), Breakout, and several other much-loved arcade classics. Blankchip18's gummy bear animation required a baffling, cavity-inducing 10 pounds of candy! Blankchip18's gummy bear animation is surely a sweet spin on arcade classics. Although I am amazed at this candy creation, I'm sure glad I don't have Blankchip18's dentist bill! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.9/10 - Popularity: 3% | Activity: 16% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Viral](https://www.trendhunter.com/viral) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Stop Motion Animation:** Opportunities for creating innovative and captivating animated content using stop motion techniques. - **Edible Art:** Disruptive innovation in the world of art by creating unique, edible creations that engage the senses. - **Nostalgic Entertainment:** Reimagining classic arcade games and experiences to appeal to a new generation of gamers. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Film and Animation:** Opportunities for incorporating stop motion animation techniques in films, commercials, and viral videos. - **Food and Culinary Arts:** Creating edible art can open up avenues for chefs, bakers, and food artists to showcase their creativity and attract customers. - **Gaming and Entertainment:** Developing immersive and nostalgic gaming experiences that bridge the gap between classic arcade games and modern technology. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Edible Adventure Game Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gummyquest.md) - [Gaming-Themed Gummy Candies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trolli-x-xbox.md) - [Record-Breaking Gummy Mosaics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gummy-candy-mosaic.md) - [Oversized Gummy Bear Lollipops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clever-candy-big-bear-pop.md) - [Video Game-Inspired Donut Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/krispy-kreme-and-bandai.md) - [3D-Printed Gamer Gummies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gummies-for-gamers.md) - [Rule-Breaking Gummy Bears](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vandal-gummy-bears.md) - [Jumbo Gummy Bear Lollipops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nassau-candy.md) - [3D Animal Gummies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gummy-mystery-cube.md)
