This limited edition treat was released to celebrate the reopening of Disneyland's 'Fantasmic!' attraction. While Mickey-shaped beignets have been a fan favorite of Disney parks for some time now, the new blackberry flavor is a fun take on the classic southern donut. The blackberry beignets are covered in flavored purple sugar and edible glitter and retail for $4.49 for a three-pack, and $7.49 for a six-pack. Disneyland is known for creating foods that visually delight and go beyond traditional theme park snacks. Disneyland's 'Cars Land' recently unveiled a blue raspberry milkshake, and a 'Krylorian Kooler' was released to celebrate the opening of the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' ride at the park. For future releases this summer, fans can expect to see more berry and fruit-flavored treats as Disney typically releases products with these flavors in the summertime. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 16% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Fruit-flavored Treats:** Disney's release of blackberry beignets and other berry and fruit-flavored treats offer an opportunity for food and beverage companies to experiment with new flavors. - **Visually Stunning Snacks:** Disney's commitment to creating visually striking treats offers an opportunity for snacks and dessert companies to elevate their presentation. - **Limited Edition Food Offerings:** Disney's success with limited edition food products offers an opportunity for food and beverage companies to experiment with new products and flavors on a temporary basis. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Food and Beverage:** The food and beverage industry can learn from Disney's success with creating unique and visually stunning treats that appeal to consumers. - **Theme Parks:** Theme parks can take inspiration from Disney's limited edition food offerings to create unique and memorable experiences for visitors. - **Hospitality:** Hotels and other hospitality companies can learn from Disney's commitment to offering unique and visually appealing food and beverage options to guests. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Creamsicle-Inspired Beignets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orange-creamsicle-beignets.md) - [Citrusy Blackberry Cookies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lemon-blackberry-cookies.md) - [Sweet Pumpkin-Stuffed Beignets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pumpkin-marshmallow-beignets.md) - [New Orleanian Brunch Menus](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/berry-chantilly-beignets.md) - [Summery Mixed Berry Donuts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mixed-berry-glazed-doughnut.md) - [Berry-Themed Donut Lineups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/krispy-kreme-pick-of-the-patch.md) - [Pistachio-Flavored Dough Treats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moi-by-mademoiselle-desserts.md) - [Family Movie-Themed Cakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/freakier-friday-key-lime-blackberry-cake.md) - [Chocolate Raspberry Donut Holes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/white-chocolate-raspberry.md)
