The device maintains a plug-and-play functionality that can be easily connected to a computer before getting to work in order to immediately make the user anonymous in the online space. The design of the device balances function and form thanks to an all-black construction that is paired with air vents and a see-through section to make it something of a focal point by highlighting internal components. The conceptual 'Black' VPN device draws design inspiration from classic as well as contemporary technology design to make the unit applicable for modern users. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 70% | Activity: 68% | Freshness: 10% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Transparent Casing Devices:** The trend of incorporating see-through components in electronic devices can improve aesthetics and functionality. - **VPN Security Solutions:** The increasing need for online privacy and security opens up opportunities for disruptive VPN innovations. - **Physical Computing:** Combining hardware and software can enhance the functionality of security devices such as VPNs. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Consumer Electronics:** Consumer electronics companies can capitalize on the trend of see-through designs and incorporate them into their products. - **Cybersecurity:** The VPN market within the cybersecurity industry has room for disruptive innovation as online privacy and security become increasingly important. - **Computer Hardware:** The physical computing trend represents an innovation opportunity for computer hardware companies to develop security devices such as VPNs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ultra-Secure Gateway Connectivity Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deeper-connect-pico.md) - [Minimalist Circular Router Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/island-router.md) - [Sleek VPN App Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/private-internet-access.md) - [See-Through Medical Device Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cyberpunk-inhaler.md) - [Transparent Cyberpunk MP3 Players](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-device.md) - [Transparency-Focused Laptop Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nothing-book-1-concept.md) - [Decor-Inspired Security Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-home-camera.md) - [Encrypted VPN Routers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/encrypted-vpn-router.md) - [Transparent Design Smartphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nothing-phone-1-concept.md)
