Did you know that Dubai has mountains? While Dubai suffers through the credit crisis, designers are heading for the hills for the next outlandish development.

Villas and housing units, a dam-like hotel and bridge will cling to the side of the mountains for the Rak Jebel Al Jais Mountain Resort. The wedge-shaped portion of the resort hangs over the valley and is another hotel and public area for concerts and events.

**Implications** - Dubai continues it's ascent to real-life, virtual fantasyland. No wonder the place is the hallowed ground of international businessmen, wealthy oil tycoons, and socialites of all races, shapes and sizes. If it's a place you can afford to go, I don't know why anyone would want to leave.
