Staying connected can be difficult when internet or mobile networks are unavailable or unreliable. Bitchat is an anonymous messaging app that uses Bluetooth mesh networking to let people communicate without WiFi, cellular service, or an internet connection.

Messages are relayed securely between nearby devices, extending communication ranges up to 300 metres while remaining end-to-end encrypted. Designed for crowded events, outdoor adventures, emergency situations, and other environments where connectivity is limited, Bitchat requires no accounts and does not rely on user tracking. By using nearby devices to create a decentralised communication network, the app offers a private and resilient way to stay in touch. Bitchat provides a secure alternative to traditional messaging when privacy and offline communication matter most.
