The project named Aves de Papel by [Estudio Guardabosques](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ph-gainza) shows just how to make almost every bird you can think of off the top of your head. They say that [making origami](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reflector-sculpture) can be relaxing for the creator. If you're just learning how to create a new piece, it can lead to some frustration and a lot of lost paper. The results, however, can be as beautiful as the Aves de Papel if done correctly. From a blue jay to a hummingbird, the Aves de Papel collection is beyond versatile. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.7/10 - Popularity: 52% | Activity: 22% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Origami Art:** The art of origami is gaining popularity recently, presenting opportunities for new origami-related products and services. - **Mathematical-inspired Design:** Origami, which involves the use of mathematics, offers a promising avenue for innovation in the design industry. - **DIY & Craft Projects:** There is a growing interest in DIY and craft projects as shown by the popularity of creating origami art, presenting opportunities for products and services that support such activities. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Arts & Crafts:** The arts and crafts industry can leverage the growing interest in origami by offering origami-related supplies and classes. - **Education:** Origami can be used as a tool for teaching mathematics and inspiring creativity in the classroom. - **Home Decor:** Aves de Papel and similar origami-inspired art can be used as unique home decor items, offering opportunities for innovation in the home decor industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Origami-Inspired Ceramics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/origami-series.md) - [Folded Paper Figures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clara-von-zweibergk.md) - [Origami-Inspired Porcelain Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/saori-matsushita.md) - [Sculptural Mixed-Media Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folded-echoes.md) - [Origami-Inspired Seating Capsule](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/origamiinspired-design1.md) - [Vibrant Bird-Inspired Artful Puzzles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/macar-parrot.md) - [Modernism Birdhouse Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dwellings-project.md) - [Educational Linoleum Birdhouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elvi-birdhouse.md) - [Sculptural Paper Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragmenti.md)
