Designed by LIGUOYIN, the smart speaker features a [birdcage-shaped construction](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aura-speaker) that disguises the grille around the body as faux wires. A small metallic bird sits atop the speaker and acts as the control knob for the volume. This creates a bit of a wondrous user experience, while still maintaining a [minimalist design aesthetic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hoan-desktop). The conceptual 'Bird Intelligent Sound Box' is imagined in three color options including green, silver and gold, which could each be easily integrated into the modern home. The smart speaker positions itself as a stylish focal point in the home rather than something that needs to be hidden. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 66% | Activity: 47% | Freshness: 12% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Evolution of Smart Speaker Design:** Designers are creating new renderings of smart speakers with unique shapes and minimalistic designs. - **Integrating Tech Into Stylish Home Decor:** Smart speakers are being created with stylish designs that make them a focal point in the home. - **User Experience-focused Design:** Smart speaker designs are being developed to deliver a wondrous user experience. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Technology:** The smart speaker industry can capitalize on the trend towards integrating tech into stylish home decor. - **Consumer Electronics:** Smart speaker manufacturers can leverage the evolution of smart speaker design to create disruptive innovations. - **Home Decor:** Home decor companies can incorporate smart speaker technology into their products to stay relevant and attract tech-savvy consumers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Bird-Inspired Speaker Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/birdinspired-speaker.md) - [Megaphone-Like Smart Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/canary-smart-speaker.md) - [Acousto-Optic Smart Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-wireless-speaker-design.md) - [Nature-Inspired Speaker Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/devialet-butterfly.md) - [Physically Interactive AI Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iris-hybrid-speaker.md) - [Flower Bud-Inspired Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orris-speaker-concept.md) - [Shell-Inspired Speaker Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shell-intelligent.md) - [Intimacy-Encouraging Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nightingale-mood-speaker.md) - [Minimalist Metallic Speaker Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/suono-bluetooth-speaker.md)
