The sofa is entirely [modular](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hybla) to meet any environment and can attach to different sections using a hidden clip system. It is made with soft edges and a progressive foam construction for a soft feel. Edgar Oquendo, the Research and Development Manager states, “Creating the perfect balance of foam density for ultimate comfort is a design challenge of its own. We went even further, ensuring the foam’s lasting quality. Our testing involved compressing the chair to 15″-18″ thickness and leaving it that way for two weeks, yet it promptly regained its original form. The essence of Bird’s stress-free sensation stems from its innovative foam construction, harmonizing seamlessly with its unique design.” Image Credit: EQ3 ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.3/10 - Popularity: 18% | Activity: 1% | Freshness: 19% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Modular Sofa Design:** The new Bird collection by EQ3 features a modular sofa design that can be customized to fit any environment with a hidden clip system. - **Casual Lounge Aesthetic:** EQ3's Bird collection embraces a casual lounge aesthetic, providing a relaxed atmosphere in any space. - **Progressive Foam Construction:** The Bird collection's innovative foam construction offers a soft feel and lasting quality, ensuring ultimate comfort for customers. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Industry:** EQ3's new Bird collection of sofas introduces disruptive innovation opportunities in the furniture industry with its modular design and focus on comfort. - **Interior Design Industry:** The casual lounge aesthetic of EQ3's Bird collection presents new possibilities for interior designers to create relaxed and stylish spaces. - **Foam Manufacturing Industry:** The progressive foam construction of the Bird collection opens up avenues for disruptive innovation in the foam manufacturing industry, ensuring both softness and durability. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Timeless Furniture Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/timeless-furniture1.md) - [Comforting Adaptable Sofa Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baby-bird-reincarnation-3way-sofa-bed.md) - [Flexible Landscape-Like Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airberg-sofa-collection.md) - [Laidback Modular Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/natuzzi-bao.md) - [Ultra-Comfy Seating Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cushy-lounge-chair.md) - [Bauhaus-Themed Contrasting Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cocoon-sofa.md) - [Rounded Modular Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smooth-sofa.md) - [Modular Liberating Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aire-modular.md) - [Bespoke Modular Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/endy-modular-sofa.md)
