For starters, Biran is [powered by electricity](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2025-ichiban-electric-motorcycle) and features a magnesium frame. It can be ridden in two ways. First, the bike can be ridden traditionally, with the rider exposed to the elements. It can also be ridden like a [velomobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bike-car-hybrid), with a windscreen to protect the occupant. Information about speed, gasoline and other factors is shown on the bike’s cover. The option to convert the Biran motorcycle concept would make it more appealing to those who aren’t totally sold on the idea of exposed riding. Many people have motorcycles as a second transportation option. However, if more motorcycles were convertible, then it’s possible that more people would be content to own a bike without owning a car. This would both clear up clogged roads and benefit the environment. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.6/10 - Popularity: 94% | Activity: 66% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Electric-powered Motorcycles:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop electric-powered motorcycles with convertible features to attract a wider range of consumers and reduce environmental impact. - **Convertible Two-wheelers:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create two-wheelers that can be easily converted between traditional motorcycle riding and velomobile mode, providing options for different weather conditions and preferences. - **Eco-friendly Transportation:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design eco-friendly motorcycles with features like a magnesium frame to promote sustainable transportation and reduce carbon emissions. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Motorcycle Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate electric-powered and convertible features into motorcycle designs to meet the evolving demands of consumers and contribute to the shift towards sustainable transportation. - **Green Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop eco-friendly materials and technologies, such as magnesium frames, that can be utilized in various industries including motorcycle manufacturing to promote environmental sustainability. - **Urban Mobility:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Enhance urban mobility solutions by introducing electric-powered and convertible motorcycles that can improve traffic congestion and reduce the dependence on cars for short-distance commutes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Convertible Electric Bike Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gravity-electric-bicycle.md) - [Modular Tech-Rich Motorcycles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bmw-motorrad-x-nvidia.md) - [Shapeshifting Superbike Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hypercycle.md) - [Four-Wheeled Hybrid Bike Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/karver-cyle-concept-k1.md) - [Hybrid Design Electric Motorcycles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/instinct-electric-motorcycle.md) - [Electric Cafe Racer Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hyundai-ioniq-q.md) - [Fitness-Focused Electric Motorbikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gymofit-motorbike-concept.md) - [Futuristic E-Bike Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ebike-concept.md) - [Shapeshifting Electric Motorbikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sony-x-honda-evolve.md)
