The Massachusetts-based company 'MC10' just premiered a revolutionary diagnostic tool at CES 2016 called the 'BioStamp.' When it comes to diagnosing neurodegenerative disorders, doctors must observe their patients with intense scrutiny. This [wearable patch](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skinsight) collects diagnostic information to give researchers and physicians "rich profiles of human activity."

The BioStamp is a wearable device that looks like a small sticker. The patch is worn directly on the skin in order to provide physicians with important [diagnostic information in real time](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/patient-monitoring-technology). The patch is able to gather this data thanks to the built-in gyroscope, accelerometer and mini ECG. Specifically the patch can be used to detect issues with motor skills, movement and other symptoms associated with neurodegenerative disorders.

The high-tech patch can be used to provide doctors and researchers with more specific information about a patient and any potential health issues they may have.
