United Airlines will create a biometric clearance option for passengers who would like to have faster security checks. The biometric clearance program is the result of a deal with a company name CLEAR. Passengers will now be able to use facial recognition in conjunction with the fingerprint scanning as opposed to conventional documentation.
A CLEAR membership has a price point of $179 USD, but MileagePlus members are able to access the service for $119. United credit card owners and Premium Silver, Gold or Platinum members will be able to purchase a membership for $109 price point. However, Jet-setters who have a local Services of Premier 1K membership will get a CLEAR membership free of charge.
The service would offer frequent flyers, or those in a hurry, the option to have a more convenient experience traveling through an airport.
