The developers down at [BioLite](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/biolite-firepit-1) are working hard to provide a clean and reliable energy source. The BioLite [CampStove](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camping-cooking-kit) and HomeStove are almost done their development stage and should be ready by summer 2012.

Through the application of energy efficient technology, BioLite has created the HomeStove which will reduce toxic emissions by 90 percent by providing a clean source of energy. Many countries in the world still cook over smokey open fires which contribute to nearly 2 million premature deaths. BioLite's HomeStove and CampStove offers emissions-free cooking and a source of affordable electricity using wood as its fuel.

About to run four large scale pilot programs in India, Ghana, Uganda and Kenya, BioLite is dedicating their efforts towards providing solutions to some of the world's health and environmental related issues by offering clean and affordable energy.
