When you're seated at the couch, it can be a bit of a reach to access beverages, remotes and reading materials from the usual couple of feet away. This product is designed to slide right up next to your sofa and even to overlap it if you like. Matthew Weatherly's mirrored design comprises a stem and a pair of matching abstract ovals for the tabletop and base. With the vertical element connected off-centered, the foot of the furnishing can be easily slid underneath a chair. The colorful Bink Side Table has enough area to accommodate [a laptop, a tablet](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cosi), magazines, or most other item's you'll want handy while sitting on the chesterfield. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 44% | Activity: 40% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Slideable Furniture:** Designing furniture with convenient sliding features to improve accessibility. - **Mirrored Furniture:** Incorporating mirrored elements into furniture to enhance decor. - **Multipurpose Tables:** Creating tables with enough surface area to accommodate a variety of items. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Innovating and improving furniture designs for easier use. - **Interior Design:** Integrating furniture items with unique features to enhance interior design. - **Home Electronics:** Designing products to integrate with furniture technology features for a seamless user experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Asymmetrical Storage Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crossbred-side-table.md) - [Mobile Desk Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/willow-side-table.md) - [Perplexingly Angular Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tadashi-side-table.md) - [Curvaceous Animalistic Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookpet-coffee-table.md) - [Puzzling Geometric Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linked-side-table.md) - [Personality-Enhancing Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ordo-book.md) - [Personalized Side Table Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/swivel.md) - [Bent Multi-Functional Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-shell-table.md) - [Bookshelf-Incorporated Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/overlap-table.md)
