Named after a little lighthouse in Brittany, France, its spotlight-like head does seem to bring to mind a traditional coastline tower. Designed by Ionna Vautrin for [Foscarini](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chapeaux-lamp), the Binic Lamp is a [table light](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-table-light) that would add cute character to any room. Although [minimalistic in concept](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-lighting-design), the Binic Lamp has enough personality to make a statement while blending in with one's current decor. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 17% | Activity: 12% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Quirky Lighting Design:** Opportunity for designers to create lighting fixtures with unconventional and lovable shapes. - **Minimalistic Home Decor:** Growing demand for minimalist home decor items that add character and personality to living spaces. - **Pet-inspired Home Accessories:** Opportunity to create home accessories inspired by pets or animals that bring a sense of playfulness and charm to interiors. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Furnishing:** Innovative lighting solutions can disrupt the home furnishing industry by offering unique and lovable designs. - **Interior Design:** Designers and decorators can embrace the trend of quirky lighting design to elevate the aesthetic appeal of interior spaces. - **Gift and Home Accents:** The demand for cute and lovable lighting fixtures presents an opportunity for the gift and home accents industry to offer unique and charming products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Pasta-Inspired Curvaceous Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neotenic-lamp.md) - [Adorable Cartoon Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightweight-and-adorable.md) - [Bulbous Whimsical Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neotenic.md) - [Bold Playful Lighting Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/little-lebow-table-lamp.md) - [Quirky Common Item Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/table-lamp-lighter.md) - [Comforting Multifunctional Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buddy-portable-lamp.md) - [Rechargeable Portable Torch Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/piton-portable-lamp.md) - [Opulent Outdoor Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gubi-seine-portable-lamp.md) - [Character-Like Wireless Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/puddy-table-lamp.md)
