# Metaphorically Inspired Pendant Lights The Bilanciato Pendants by J Schatz are Inspired by Life By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2022-10-03 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bilanciato-pendants References: [yankodesign](https://www.yankodesign.com/2022/10/03/these-playful-pendant-lamps-are-like-a-metaphor-for-finding-balance-in-life/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=these-playful-pendant-lamps-are-like-a-metaphor-for-finding-balance-in-life) & [jschatz](https://jschatz.com/) The Bilanciato Pendants have been designed by J Schatz as a series of metaphorically inspired illuminators for the modern home or office. The lights are constructed with a hoop and have the illuminator unit sitting right on top, which creates a visual sense of balance. This metaphorically refers to the experience of balancing ones various life commitments and responsibilities for an artistic rendering of daily challenges. The Bilanciato Pendants maintain a cheery disposition thanks to their chromatic design and are equipped with warm white LEDs that are also dimmable. The lights maintain a high-gloss finish to reflect the LED light slightly, while also reflecting other light sources in the room. The light fixture conveys a sense of harmony and peace to reinforce a sense of cheeriness during ones day-to-day schedule. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 60% | Activity: 15% | Freshness: 13% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Metaphorically Inspired Design:** Designers are creating metaphorically inspired products for the modern home or office, offering an opportunity for businesses to create unique and meaningful designs for their customers. - **Balance and Harmony:** The incorporation of balance and harmony in design is becoming increasingly popular, presenting an opportunity for businesses to create products that promote mental and emotional well-being. - **Reflective Finishes:** The use of reflective finishes in design elements is a growing trend, providing businesses an opportunity to create visually interesting and functional products. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate metaphorically inspired elements, balance and harmony, and reflective finishes into their design projects. - **Lighting:** Lighting companies can create metaphorically inspired lights with warm white LEDs and dimmable features that promote balance and harmony in the home or office. - **Home Decor:** Home decor companies can provide customers with visually interesting and meaningful decor pieces that incorporate metaphorical elements, balance and harmony, and reflective finishes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Bubble-Inspired Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bubbles-lighting-design.md) - [Mixed Material Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gant-pendant-lights.md) - [Encapsulated Semi-Transparent Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nested-pendant-light.md) - [Bakery-Inspired Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/croissant-pendant-light.md) - [Stacked Illuminator Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/konnect-pendant-light.md) - [Minimally Designed Ethereal Pendants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightmass.md) - [3D-Printed Cloud-Like Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightmass-2025-pendants.md) - [Recycled Material Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zbozhzha-pendant-light.md) - [Enchanting Hanging Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hf-series.md)
