The ‘Foldable Helmet’ by [Carrera](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/macallan-harmony-caf) is a bike helmet that's built to fit almost any head size and won’t hamper your biking convenience. The helmet has a flexible frame, which can be used to reduce the size of the bike helmet to 20% when not in use. The helmet also adapts to the head size of the wearer, which makes it great if you're into sharing helmets. The front-to-back vents allow air to pass freely through the helmet, unlike most bike helmets in the market. The elastics of the helmet provide an anatomical support for your head that provides comfort and stability for your head. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.0/10 - Popularity: 30% | Activity: 82% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Sports](https://www.trendhunter.com/sports) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Foldable Bike Helmets:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in creating bike helmets that can fold to a smaller size for convenience and storage. - **Customizable Bike Helmets:** Potential for disruptive innovation in designing bike helmets that adapt to the head size of the wearer, allowing for a personalized fit. - **Ventilated Bike Helmets:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in developing bike helmets with improved ventilation systems that allow for better airflow and increased comfort. ### Where This Applies - **Cycling Equipment:** The cycling equipment industry can explore the development and manufacturing of foldable, customizable, and ventilated bike helmets. - **Outdoor Sports:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation within the outdoor sports industry by creating innovative and user-friendly bike helmets. - **Safety and Protective Gear:** The safety and protective gear industry can seize the opportunity to innovate and produce foldable, customizable, and well-ventilated bike helmets. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Inflatable Accordion-Style Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ventete-ah1.md) - [Collapsible Space-Saving Cyclist Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flipclip-go-helmet.md) - [Foldable Light-Integrated Bike Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fend-super-bike-helmet.md) - [Origami-Style Cyclist Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/raba-helmet.md) - [Foldable Air Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-ventete-ah1.md) - [Self-Inflating Bicycle Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bumpair-20.md) - [Interchangeable Component Sport Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/customizable-helmet.md) - [Featherlight Inflatable Bike Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inflabi-bike-helmet.md) - [Folding Smart Helmet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-helmets.md)
